Who we are
This website is operated by L.CONSTANT HOT WATER LTD, referred to here as Constant Hot Water, we or us, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16343919. What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the contact form we collect the following.
- Your name and the contact details you give us, meaning a phone number or an email address or both.
- The project information you provide. This covers location or postcode, customer type, project type, whether it is domestic or commercial, approximate floor area, system type, project stage, expected start date and anything you write in the message field.
The form does not accept file uploads. If you later send drawings or photographs by email or WhatsApp, or you call or message us, we hold the contact details and information you share in that conversation.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation and, if you go ahead, carry out the work. Our lawful basis is that the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, together with our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services. We do not use your details for marketing and we do not sell them.
Who it is shared with
Enquiry form submissions are collected and delivered to us by Netlify, the company that hosts this website. Netlify stores each submission and emails it to constanthotwaterbr2@gmail.com. Netlify acts on our behalf and you can read how it handles information in its own privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy. Netlify also applies automatic spam filtering to submissions. We may share your details with a colleague working on your project. We will not share them with anyone else unless we are required to by law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as it is needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records and for any warranty or legal reasons. If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, ask us using the details below.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not load third party tracking scripts. See the cookie policy. If analytics is added later, this policy and the cookie policy will be updated and you will be asked to consent before any non essential cookies are set.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To ask for access or deletion, or to use any of these rights, email constanthotwaterbr2@gmail.com or call 07379 411 870. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
